Please read these terms
By using this website, you agree to these Website Terms of Use. These terms govern use of the website itself. A particular NHS or private healthcare service may have additional eligibility, consent, clinical or payment conditions that will be explained separately.
1. About us
This website is operated by GRH Pharma Ltd (company number 14196408), trading as Tynewydd Pharmacy. Our registered office is Suite 2d, Building 1, Eastern Business Park, St Mellons, Cardiff, CF3 5EA. Our pharmacy is at 59 Gwendoline Street, Tynewydd, Treherbert, CF42 5BL. Tynewydd Pharmacy is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (registration 1043630).
2. Website information is not individual medical advice
We aim to provide clear and accurate information about our pharmacy, clinic and services. General website content cannot take account of your individual health, medicines or circumstances and is not a diagnosis, prescription or substitute for an appropriate clinical assessment. Do not start, stop or change a medicine solely because of website content.
If you are unsure whether a service or treatment is suitable, contact the pharmacy or another appropriate healthcare professional.
Urgent help
This website, email and online forms are not emergency services and are not monitored continuously. Use NHS 111 Wales for urgent advice, or call 999 for a life-threatening emergency.
3. Services, appointments and clinical decisions
Submitting an enquiry or booking request does not guarantee an appointment, prescription, medicine, vaccination, test or other treatment. Services remain subject to eligibility, an individual clinical assessment, informed consent, staff and stock availability, and any applicable NHS or professional requirements. A clinician may recommend another service or decide that treatment is not appropriate.
Appointment availability and service scope may change. We will try to contact you if a confirmed appointment must be changed. Separate cancellation, payment or treatment information may apply to a particular private service and will be provided before it becomes binding.
4. Prices and availability
We take reasonable care to keep published prices and service information current. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in pounds sterling and include applicable taxes. Prices, medicine availability and treatment options may change. We will confirm the relevant price and what it includes before treatment or supply. An obvious website pricing error does not oblige us to provide a service at the incorrect price, but your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
5. Online forms and communications
Provide information that is accurate and relevant to your request. Do not impersonate another person or provide their information unless you are authorised to act for them. Use the designated secure form when available rather than ordinary email for detailed health information. Our Website Privacy Policy and Patient Privacy Notice explain how personal information is used.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the website:
- unlawfully, fraudulently or in a way that infringes another person's rights;
- to introduce malware, attack, probe, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the website or connected systems;
- to submit false, abusive, threatening, discriminatory or harmful material;
- to scrape, copy or reuse substantial website content for commercial purposes without permission; or
- in a way that interferes with another person's use of the site.
7. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, website text, design, branding, graphics and original materials belong to GRH Pharma Ltd or are used with permission. You may view, print or save reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, adapt, publish or commercially exploit our content or branding without prior written permission. Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.
8. External services and links
The website may link to or display services operated by NHS organisations, GoDaddy, Setmore, Pharmadoctor, Google and other third parties. Links are provided for convenience and do not mean we control or endorse every part of an external site. The external provider's own terms, privacy and accessibility information may apply. We are not responsible for external content or for changes made by an external provider, although we welcome reports of broken or unsuitable links.
9. Website availability and security
We try to keep the website available and secure but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, withdraw, restrict or change content or functionality for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons. You are responsible for using appropriate device security and for checking that downloaded material is suitable for your system.
10. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for loss caused by reliance on general website information instead of obtaining appropriate individual advice, by an external website outside our control, or by events we could not reasonably prevent. These website terms do not limit any duty of care arising from a consultation or healthcare service we actually provide.
11. Privacy, cookies and accessibility
Please read our Website Privacy Policy, Patient Privacy Notice, Cookie Policy and Accessibility page. These documents explain how we use information, how cookie choices work and how to request an adjustment or alternative format.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the website, our services or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will be published here. If a change is material, we will highlight it where appropriate. Continued use after publication means the updated website terms apply from that point; changes do not retrospectively remove rights you already have.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will normally have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory right you may have to bring proceedings elsewhere in the United Kingdom.
