Your choice matters
We use strictly necessary technologies to operate and protect the website. Optional cookies and similar technologies should not be activated unless you choose to accept them. You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie Settings link.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, including local storage, pixels and embedded-content identifiers, can perform related functions. Some last only for the browser session; others remain for a stated period or until deleted.
2. Who is responsible
GRH Pharma Ltd, trading as Tynewydd Pharmacy, is responsible for the use of cookies on this website. GoDaddy provides the website platform and cookie-consent functionality. Other providers may set cookies only when their services are used or embedded, as explained below.
3. The categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for page delivery, security, network management and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off through the consent tool because the website may not work correctly without them. | Not required |
| Functional | Supports optional features such as an embedded map, booking interface or review content. Blocking these may mean the feature is replaced by a link or placeholder. | Required unless strictly necessary for a service you request |
| Analytics / performance | Helps us understand aggregated website use and improve pages. We are not currently aware of Google Analytics being enabled; any platform analytics must remain off until consent where it stores or accesses information on your device. | Required |
| Advertising / marketing | Used to track visitors or personalise advertising across services. We do not knowingly use Meta Pixel or other advertising trackers at present. | Required before any future use |
4. Services that may place or access cookies
GoDaddy: hosts and operates the website and consent banner, and may use essential security and platform technologies.
Google Maps: may process device, IP and interaction data when a map is loaded. We recommend a consent-controlled map or a click-to-open link.
Setmore and Pharmadoctor: may use their own cookies when you follow a link to, or interact with, a booking or clinical-service page.
Microsoft Forms: may use essential authentication, security or session technologies when a form is opened. Forms should be operated through Tynewydd Pharmacy's controlled Microsoft 365 environment.
Review and external-link providers: may process information when you open their page or interact with embedded content.
These organisations may act as our processor for some functions and as an independent controller for their own services. Their privacy and cookie information applies when you use those services.
5. Current cookie details
Cookie names and durations can change when GoDaddy or another provider updates its service. The website's Cookie Settings panel should show the current categories and choices. Before launch, and after any material website change, we will scan the live site and update the panel or this policy if new optional technologies are found.
Launch control
The published site should not load an optional map, analytics tag, embedded review widget or advertising technology before consent. "Reject non-essential" should be as easy to use as "Accept", and the consent banner must not use pre-ticked choices.
6. How to manage your choice
Use the Cookie Settings link in the website footer to accept or reject optional categories and to change your decision later. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings, although blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect website operation.
7. Our legal basis
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we may store or access strictly necessary information without consent. We request consent for optional cookies and similar technologies. Where cookie data is personal information, our related UK GDPR lawful basis is consent for optional technologies and legitimate interests or legal obligation for essential security and operation, as appropriate.
8. International processing
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where we are responsible for such a transfer, we use an appropriate safeguard as described in our Website Privacy Policy. The provider's own terms may also apply when you leave our website or use its independent service.
9. Changes to this policy
We will review this policy when website functionality, cookie use or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will be published on the website.
