The medicine names and prices below are provided as factual information about possible treatment options available through the Tynewydd Weight Management Service. Treatment is never selected on price or preference alone. Any prescribing decision is based on Gareth's individual clinical assessment, and attending a consultation does not guarantee a prescription or supply.
What the price includes
Each listed price covers one four-week treatment supply together with the associated clinical care described below.
- The private prescription.
- A face-to-face consultation with Gareth for each four-week treatment supply.
- Blood pressure, weight and waist measurements at every scheduled consultation.
- The Tynewydd Weight Management Support Booklet and Eat Better booklet when treatment is first supplied.
- Additional telephone support when clinically required, at no extra charge.
Additional face-to-face contact can be discussed where appropriate. All treatment remains subject to individual clinical suitability, ongoing monitoring and stock availability.

A brief initial suitability assessment is available free of charge where needed. In many cases, this can be incorporated into your first full appointment.
This initial check is not a full prescribing consultation. The Tynewydd Weight Management Support Booklet and Eat Better booklet are provided at the first full consultation when the first treatment supply is made.
